Charlie Raphael joined RESNA on September 19, 2017 as its new Director of Certification and Education. As such, Charlie will lead efforts to maintain our flagship credentialing program that includes the ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) and SMS (Seating and Mobility Specialist) certifications.  Charlie recently worked as Director of Certification, Education and Training for the Application Developers Alliance. He holds a BA in Communications from George Mason University.

He brings over 10 years of certification experience as well as a strong background in marketing. Incoming Professional Standards Board (PSB) Chair Brian Burkhardt, outgoing PSB Chair Dan Cochrane, and Education Committee Chair Meghan Donahue participated in the search process.
