RESNA's scientific journal, Assistive Technology, is now using Taylor & Francis' Accepted Manuscripts Online (AMO) service.  This service offers accepted, uncorrected versions of manuscripts, fully citable and assigned a DOI online within seven days of acceptance by the journal. Final copy edited versions of the papers are published online once the papers are published in an issue. The goal of the AMO service is to help expedite research, while continuing to foster communication among individuals working in all aspectes of the assistive technology arena, including researchers, developers, clinicians, educators, and consumers.

As a member benefit, RESNA members have full access to all issues of the journal, as well as access to the articles in the AMO section. Just log into the RESNA website as a member and click on the "View AT Journal" link.  The AMO articles are located in the section labeled "Forthcoming articles."

Non-members can view a free sample copy and article abstracts, as well as purchase papers individually through the Taylor & Francis website. Non-members can also purchase an individual subscription.

Coming up in June is a special issue devoted to Augmentative and Alternative Communication, prepared by the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Communication Enhancement (AAC-RERC) and featuring many of the leading authorities in the field of AAC.
