HME News interviewed Doran Edwards, MD, of Advanced Healthcare Consulting, about his plenary session topic at the RESNA 2012 Conference, “How Science Influences Public Policy in Seating & Mobility.” Dr. Edwards will be speaking on Sunday, July 1st, along with Rita Hostak, Vice President of Government Relations for Sunrise Medical. The session is part of the Mobility-Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center’s State of the Science Conference, being held in conjunction with the RESNA conference on July 1 and July 2. As part of the State of the Science, conference attendees will be able to attend the plenary as well as three workshop sessions.
