Category: General

RESNA’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) connect AT professionals from diverse backgrounds who are RESNA members with those that share similar interests. These smaller committees within RESNA allow members to network, share information, and collaborate. The primary responsibility of the SIGs is to provide a forum for increasing the professional knowledge and interaction of members with similar interest in the field of rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology.

We are looking for individuals interested in serving in the role as a SIG Chair and/or Vice-Chair for a committee. The following leadership positions are available:

  • Communication Technologies and Computer Access (Chair and Vice-Chair)
  • Consumer Access, Priorities, and Benefits Over the Lifespan (Vice-Chair)
  • Delivery, Outcomes, and Policy (Chair and Vice-Chair)
  • Wheeled Mobility and Seating (Chair and Vice-Chair)

Terms are for two years. Elections will take place at the RESNA Annual Conference by members of that particular SIG. Only RESNA members in good standing are eligible for office.

If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Jamie A. Prioli (SIG Committee Chair) at Jamie.Prioli@temple.edu or your individual SIG chair. Please send us the following information with your inquiry:
