From the exhibit hall to the workshop and platform sessions to the instructional courses, there’s a diversity of offerings at RESNA 2012.  While wheeled mobility and seating is always an important topic area at the RESNA annual conference, 57% of the workshops, 88% of the platform sessions, and 70% of the instructional courses cover other aspects of AT, namely:

 

  • Computer Applications & Communications (CAC)
  • Job & Environment Accomodations, including Ergonomics (JEA)
  • Outcome & Quantitative Measurement (OUT)
  • Other (OTH) - includes emergency preparedness, clinical decision-making tools, and more
  • Public Policy (PP)
  • Rural Rehabilitation (RR)
  • Technology for Cognitive and Sensory Impairments (TCS)
  • Universal Design 

 

Workshops are offered at every skill level: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.  In addition, the large exhibit hall features a wide range of exhibits and products on all aspects of assistive technology.
